Ross Len Jackson, 73, went to be with the Lord on Monday, October 24, 2016. He was born in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Ross Lane Jackson and Leah Myers Jackson. Len served his country and was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran. He graduated high school and went on to college at the University of Texas, earning a Bachelor’s degree. He was a camera and production man for Channel 2 news in Houston for many years. Len was a gentle, loving, and very positive gentleman, who was very giving and was always willing to help. He enjoyed spending time with his family. Some of his hobbies included: watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, travelling, sports, and going to theaters to watch musicals. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents. Len is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen Boucher; goddaughter, Noel Boyd, MD; aunts and uncles, Mary Jackson, Ileta Marsh, Helen and Don Jackson, and Jack Jackson and David Jackson; numerous grandchildren by love and a host of other extended family and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held in the chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home on Friday, October 28, 2016, from 5 pm to 8 pm. Funeral services will also be held in the chapel of Sterling-White Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29, 2016, at 2 pm. Interment will immediately follow in Sterling-White Cemetery.
