In more than 20 years working in TV, I can honestly say Len was one of the kindest co-workers I have ever had. Despite going through trials taking care of his aging mother, he was always quick with a smile and willing to help a newbie just starting out.

God sends angels to Earth to help people make it through tough times, and Len was definitely that for me. May he rest in peace.

Len was my daugher, Noel's, Godfather, and not without a good reason. I knew from the first moment I met him what a kind and loving man he was. We spent most Christmas eve and mornings with his parents and him during her early years and they were our family in TX. What a blessing to have him in our lives all these years. Later after she had a family, and his parents were gone, he came to Noel's house for Christmas and Thanksgiving, and then Ellen joined in when she became a part of his life. It just became richer with more love for everyone. He brought great joy to our family with his generosity of spirit, sense of humor and love. He will be greatly missed. We loved him dearly.

We love our cousin Len so much and had many great times with him. Some of our best trips were with him at the wheel. We didn't get to see him very often but treasured our visits. So sorry we are not able to come to Texas for his services and are grateful for Ellen taking care of the details. He was always here in Michigan when we needed him.

I've never met a more positive man. He had an eternal smile, was always kind, always thoughtful, always grateful, and always ready to help with any task.

Len contributed so much to Channel 2 .... and to all of us who were fortunate to know him.

I will miss his kindness ..... but always remember it.

Cousin Len, was a outstanding person, away had a smile and a chuckle. He loved serving in the ARMY and did his tour in Panama Cannel, worked for TV Channel 2 NBC Houston TX as a camera man. He was quite the picture taker. Lots of alums to share of the 13 country's he lived in, growing up. But, WV was his favorite state. We all love WV. WV is were us cousin always gather to visit one another, every summer. We had fun times, listen to his ghost stories of Red Ruby and others. With his Dad Uncle Ross on the banjo, my Dad Floyd Lober on the tongue heart and Uncle Roy Booth telling us cousin tall tales(all swinging on the swing of front porch); while the Aunts(all sisters: Anita, Ethal, Leanore, Leah and Ileta) helping Grandma Bonnie Sue Myers get the fix'uns together. Most important of all, he was a giver. He shared what he had with others. I will truly Miss my cousin Len Jackson. Shirley Lober Rumpf.
